Kate Silverton and husband greet a baby girl

BBC Newsreader Kate Silverton has given birth to her first child, a baby girl called Clemency Florence Rose by herself and husband Mike Heron.

The child was expected at the end of October, but she finally showed up on 5 November at Queen Charlotte’s hospital in Hammersmith, central London.

The 41 year old newsreader had referred to being pregnant as a miracle, as she’d feared that she would be unable to have a baby. She had an operation to get rid of a cyst at the age of 29 which led to her sacrificing an ovary, but the couple introduced in May that Kate had fallen pregnant naturally after four failed cycles of IVA.

Kate and Mike have referred to their baby girl as “divine” and in a statement from her agent Kate said that she had “big lips and big feet like her mummy”.

The couple were shown out and about just one day before Clemency emerged, taking some time out from all the pressures of arranging everything for example nursery bedding sets and anything else necessary to make the house ready for the new baby.

When you’re planning on a brand new arrival there are many things you need to sort out, from decorating the room to purchasing baby nursery bedding to purchasing all the clothes and items your new baby could need.

Irrespective of whether you’re searching for boy or girl baby bedding, you can find whatever you could require at Bed-e-Byes, so go to the website right now to make certain you are equipped for the new birth.
